She snickered. "You think that's free information in this day and age? Nope." She sat up, and as she did, every vertebrae in her back cracked. "Thanks, friend, for the care. I need to see my Healer though. Probably have a bit of internal bleeding." She stood, and started to the edge of the clearing. "How near are we to the moor?"

Anthony looked off in the horizon. He looked contemplative for a moment, then began to count on his fingers. An inquisitive looked crossed his face, and a sudden moment of realization blossomed forth. He turned to the girl with a triumphant smile on his face.
"Not a damn clue."

She growled before shaking her head. "Useless." She gave a brisk wave before turning in the opposite direction and walking away.

Anthony walked opposite of the girl and climbed a tree. He climbed to a tall branch, stopped, and snickered. "And three...two...one..."
The girl crumpled to the floor in a heap of pain. A short yell echoed across the valley.
"I forgot to mention! I don't have painkillers, and you have two busted-up tendons. Unless you plan on forcing adrenaline in your system for the next..." Anthony perked himself up in the branch. "Thirteen and a quarter miles, you might want a bit of assistance."

She looked at him incredulously. "How deep in the forest are you?"

"I was going to ask you that. I walked three miles toward my current camp. We're around two miles away right now. Why in the hell were you out in the middle of nowhere?"

Cass shrugged vaguely. "I was."

Anthony hopped down from the tree and walked toward the girl.
"Mmm. Let's redo that question. Why do you have chunks taken out of you like you were attacked by a volcanic ice cream scooper?"

Again she shrugged. "Shit happens when you're a Human," she idly said.

Anthony grinned. "Preaching to the choir, ma'am. I've spent the last four days tracking angels who thought they were tracking me."
He stepped toward the girl again. "That doesn't really help me with the fact that you're pretty damn hurt and I don't know how to help any further."

Sighing, she looked at him. "What makes you think you could help me anymore?"

"Well, first, I've got some wheels which can get you where you want to go at a faster pace than an army crawl. On the other hand, you happen to be in my backyard."
Anthony waved his arm in front of him. "I live all around here. I've made camp on every square inch of this place. Hell, I could tell you how many trees are behind me right now, and what kinds they are. Ash, ash, oak, ash, birch, ash, and ash. Although with your recent fiasco, I'm worried about how much really is ash at this point."
He sighed and sat down on the ground."So let's quit with the pleasantries so I can take you back to camp, use some proper first aid to set your broken bones, and grab a faster mode of transportation."

Cass glared. "You have transportation? Good. I need to go to my healer."

Anthony nodded to her wrist. "Your healer better be the best damn healer around to heal a bone that hasn't even been set. You'll be holding your katana backwards for a while."

She frowned at him. "Ami can do damn near anything my friend. She's healed more on me that I thought was possible."
