Mr. Fedner turned his eye of Morodor away from the boy, and finally reached Sabine's table.
"Not finished, again, eh, Sabine?" Mr. Fedner asked, roasting her in his mind again.
She shrugged in reply. "Apparently not. I'm not like your star student over there," she replied, nodding to the Addo kid.
"Keep your tongue girl."
She shrugged again, and opened her notebook to a page of doodles. Without another regard, she continued to obliterate the free space.

Dameon chuckled at the Sabine girl's comment. "Oh yes, star student," he said sarcastically. "I dont suppose you'd care for some tutoring, sweetheart?"

Sabine lifted her head, and looked about. "I'm sorry. Did someone say something?"

"Oh no, sorry. I see you were too busy scribbling down some satanic chant. My apologies."

"Oh, it's just you whining away again," she said with a sigh. "I was hoping there was actually someone worthwhile in this class." She paused. "And whether or not it's Satanic is none of your concern, you prat."

Dameon yawned. "Oh Jesus, she's gonna damn us all to hell," he said, smirking.

"Just you," she replied easily. "But then again, that would be any different than it is for you now, would it be?" Smirking, she looked him right in the eyes. "After all, you must really hate your dad. Don't worry though. I'll keep your secret."

Arrogant little b*tch, he thought, smirking as he caught her eye. "Why dont you shut the f**k up, sweetie, and do us all a favor?"

She rolled her eyes in exasperation. A moment later, a leg broke free from the boy's chair.
Serves you right.

A sudden spark of annoyance flew from the girl and landed Dameon in the gut, and then only a sudden udderance escaped his lips- "Sh*t!"- before Dameon toppled backward onto the floor.
His head hit the linoleum, and he saw stars, but Dameon rolled over and hoisted himself up, hissing cuss words through gritted teeth. He looked at the broken leg of the chair with confusion and then at Sabine with a glare.

"Aw. Looks like karma has finally done something right," Sabine said with a grin.
Mr. Fedner finally leaped into action. "What in God's name happened here! Mr. Addo, explain!"

Took ya God damn long enough.. Dameon thought, grimacing slightly from the sudden burst of anger from the educator. "Either this school is way too flimsy on its budget towards seating or we've got a follower of the Devil in this classroom," he growled, brushing the dust and grit from his clothes.

"Is that an impli-" Sabine started, before she was interrupted.
"That is enough, Miss Fredricks," Mr. Fedner said, turning his eyes to her for but a moment. "If you will desist. And now that this-" he pointed to Dameon- "is over with - Mr. Addo, take a place behind Miss Fredricks - we'll begin."

"What?!" he blurted out indignantly, flashing a glare at Sabine. "I dont wanna sit by her!"

"Now, Dameon!" Mr. Fedner demanded as he stalked angrily up to the front of the room. "Now, today's assignment was. . . frankly. . . pitiful. I'll put to examples on the board. You'll come up and do them."
Sabine drowned out the man's voice and turned back to her notebook. That was dumb of me. I shouldn't have lashed out like that. She shook her head slightly, a grin playing off of her lips. It was very enjoyable, though. . . The prick finally got put in his place.
As she spaced, and her emotions fluxed, her control did as well. Only the observant would have noticed that, as she bounced in her chair, her backpack lifted slightly off the floor.
