This is a documentary about the death penalty. It is mostly from a subtly persuasive point of view in which it tries to sway you toward being against the death penalty, but in it is a much deeper meaning. If you ever, /ever/ get the chance to see this film, you must. MUST. If you have the IFC channel, record it or just outright watch it. If you find it available on DVD, snag it.
Read the full article on the IFC website, check the synopsis, check everything about this film. This is one of those films that I believe everyone should see before they die.
On top of this movie, I also have found a movie called "Flight From Death", which is about the human instinct of living and the human effort to literally combat death. It's quite a good watch, and it is only an hour and a half long. If you have the time to spare, definitely check it out.

That's all. After seeing the movie I feel a bit...well, weird. I've definitely come to accept death, though. I was always inbetween on it and capable of understanding the dealing with it, but I've reached a point where my outlook is "Well, I'm going to to die eventually. I don't want to, but I will. Why not fulfill the old adage of "skidding in sideways to the grave screaming 'THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A RIDE!'" instead of "going peacefully"
I warn you, though, the video tends to observe religion from a point of view different than those who follow the religions. If you do not appreciate the questioning of your beliefs, know that by watching this video you're going to have to endure a little bit of religious-cross-examination. The end result is well worth the trip, though.
